International Student Career Workshop

The CRC staff presents the realities of a U.S. based internship and permanent job-search process. This workshop will allow you to learn the tools needed to conduct a U.S. job search and how these tools are available through the Career Resource Center. Learn from a panel of second-year MBAs about their internship search experiences. Representatives from International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) will be presenting on crucial CPT (internship) and OPT (permanent) work authorization issues.

To further develop your knowledge of work authorization issues please attend workshops provided directly by International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) on CPT (internship) and OPT (permanent) work authorization issues as well as H-1B visas.  

Employer Expectation Series: Insider Information for the International Candidate

A panel of employers (recruiters and hiring managers) who have hired candidates in the past who have required H-1B processing will share their experiences, expertise, advice and suggestions. Learn straight from those who hire what they expect.

Your Passport to Employment: Tips from UB International Alumni

UB international alumni who are gainfully employed will discuss how to conduct a successful job search, how to adapt to an American work place, what surprised them about their current work environment.
