Meet the CRC Staff

Gwen S. Appelbaum
Assistant Dean and Director

As assistant dean, Gwen leads the Frank L. Ciminelli Family Career Resource Center both strategically and operationally. She oversees planning related to graduate and undergraduate programming and services. Additionally, she uses her extensive corporate experience in building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders, including students, employers, alumni, faculty and staff. 

Undergraduate Services

Michael A. Paolini
Senior Associate Director

Mike oversees the undergraduate career services team. He also is the lead instructor for the school's undergraduate career planning course, MGG 300. He works with students, employers and alumni in the areas of Accounting and Internal Audit.

Caitlin Rush
Associate Director

Caitlin is responsible for creating and coordinating career-related workshops, seminars and programming for all undergraduate students. She also develops and implements advisement strategies including group advisement sessions and one-on-one appointments.


Christopher Salem
Undergraduate Advisement Associate

Chris works with undergraduate students in the areas of finance, management information systems, and supply chains and operations management. Chris also assists undecided School of Management undergraduates with concentration decisions. In addition, he is the School of Management student club liaison and works closely with all the student leaders.

Graduate Services

Melissa Ruggiero
Senior Associate Director

Melissa oversees the CRC's career services for graduate students and coordinates a diverse range of events to address the career and hiring needs of our various stakeholders. She also works closely with students, employers and alumni in the areas of management information systems, information assurance and supply chains and operations management.

Pamela J. Krakowiak
Associate Director

Pam manages the website and marketing communications for the office. She works most closely with students, employers and alumni in the areas of marketing, health care management, human resources, consulting and international management along with undecided and dual degree MBA students.

Angela Reeves
Associate Director

Angela leads the data collection process of employment statistics and works closely with the director in responding to surveys from various ranking organizations. She works most closely with students, employers and alumni in the finance area.

Employer and Customer Relations

Daniel Wolfe
Employer Relations Manager

Dan develops new partnerships and fosters current relationships with businesses and business leaders to maximize the scope of the School of Management’s recruiting engagement.

Rebecca L. Cercone
Recruitment Coordinator and Office Manager

Rebecca manages the logistics associated with on-campus interviewing, résumé collections, and job posting activities for the School of Management.

Bridgett Green
Office Administrator

Bridgett coordinates the daily operations of the Career Resource Center, manages the student staff and practice interview program, as well as serves as the primary point of contact for students, employers and faculty.


Internships and Experiential Learning

Carrie Gardner

Carrie is responsible for overall direction of the internship program. She meets with students seeking credit for participation in internships, works with employers setting up internship programs, screens all internships posted with the Career Resource Center for credit eligibility and submits academic grades for all student interns. Carrie is available for employer training programs regarding mentoring and internships.


Sheila Toomb
Assistant Director

Sheila is the first point-of-contact for the internship office, working with students and employers to help them understand and participate in the program. She also assists with decisions regarding internship sites and assists with review and evaluation of academic assignments submitted by student interns.

Martha Salzman
Faculty Director 
Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Accounting and Law

Martha is responsible for final approval of all internship placements as well as key decision making on policy regarding program operations. She serves as chair of the faculty internship committee.
