Each year, more than 250 School of Management students earn academic credit for internship participation through the Office of Internships and Experiential Learning. 

Undergraduate (juniors and seniors) and graduate (MBA, MS Accounting, MS Finance) students in good academic standing may use our program. Services include:
  • Ability to apply to internship postings in BizLink 
  • Potential to earn three elective credits for 150 hours of internship participation
  • Access to internships focused on projects related to your concentration
  • Potential for formal recognition during our annual Internship Awards Reception
  • Opportunities for paid and unpaid internships
  • Support throughout your internship experience

Quick Facts

  • Internships can occur in the fall, spring or summer
  • All unpaid internships must be registered for academic credit
  • Students are allowed to earn both academic credit and wages as offered by the employer
  • Employers expect to see at least one internship on student résumés 
  • We're happy to review internships found through personal contacts for academic credit eligibility
