Kao, Lin awarded for paper on brand equity in electronic banking

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A doctoral candidate and a professor from the University at Buffalo School of Management have been tapped by the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) to receive the Best Interdisciplinary Paper Award for the paper, “Managing Brand Equity in E-Banking: A Simultaneous Equation System Approach.”

Ta-Wei (Daniel) Kao, doctoral candidate, and Winston Lin, professor of operations management and strategy, along with paper co-author Hsin-Hsin Chang of National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, will receive the award during the President’s Luncheon at the DSI annual meeting Nov. 19 in Baltimore.

The DSI is a professional organization of academicians and practitioners interested in the application of quantitative and behavioral methods to the problems of society.
