The Office of Internships and Experiential Learning serves UB School of Management students at the undergraduate and graduate levels as well as employers across industries interested in internship and other experiential learning opportunities. All internships posted through our office are screened for quality and must include a focused project and intentional supervision. Internships can occur in fall, spring and summer semesters and can be paid or unpaid.
- Our staff assists students with the internship search, interview strategies, resume and cover letter critiques, networking resources, academic credit registration, work authorization for international students, and general advice. Last year more than 250 students earned academic credit for participation in paid and unpaid internships.
- The Office of Internships and Experiential Learning assists employers with development of internship descriptions and programs; mentor training; online posting and promotion of internship opportunities; on-campus events including recruiting, information sessions, panel discussions; and guidance regarding international students.
