Internships have become a popular method for complementing academic preparation. Students who lack real-world experience may opt for participation in an internship as a means to build a foundation of strategic skills to assist with professional success. By combining hands-on experience with knowledge gained from the classroom, students are able to make significant contributions in an authentic work environment while exploring their careers of choice.
The Frank L. Ciminelli Family Career Resource Center and the Credit-Bearing Internship Program (CBIP) work together to develop internship opportunities for School of Management students. Both programs share the online BizLink recruiting system.
All internships posted through our offices are screened for quality and must include a focused project and intentional supervision. Internships can occur in fall, spring and summer semesters and can be paid or unpaid. Students and employers wishing to explore academic credit for internships work directly with the CBIP.
