About the Center

Undergraduate Learning and Community Center.

Gather, learn and thrive in the Undergraduate Learning and Community Center.

In the lower level of the Jacobs Management Center, you will find several bright, colorful spaces dedicated exclusively to School of Management students in our award-winning Undergraduate Learning and Community Center:

  • The Frank and Marilyn Clement Undergraduate Community Hub – The heart of life in the Undergraduate Learning and Community Center, with plenty of comfortable seating and spaces for you to catch up with friends, work on group projects or study individually.
  • Learning Hub – A quiet place to complete your work or take advantage of the center's many academic enrichment services, including coaching, tutoring, workshops and drop-in sessions.
  • State-of-the-art classrooms – Two recitation classrooms feature six-person workstations with laptops and power hookups for each student, along with a flatscreen TV on which the instructor or students can broadcast information to the entire class simultaneously. A third classroom seats 40 students, with movable seating that can be arranged in rows, small groups, a large circle or other formats to best suit the class or event.
Take teamwork to the next level

Using the center's ClearTouch—a 65-inch interactive touchscreen computer—you can collaborate seamlessly with your classmates on team projects and presentations. Simply plug in your laptop, tablet or jump drive to work together on an existing project, or start a new one using the installed Microsoft Office software.
