Student Networking Opportunity (every January)

This is a collaborative event between the Career Resource Center and the School of Management Alumni Association to provide networking opportunities for students and School of Management alumni in the New York City area. This event provides an excellent forum to renew old acquaintances as well as meet students who are eager to learn more about your profession. MBA Student Sneak Preview Weekend
Student Recruitment Opportunity (every March)

Sponsored by the UB MBA program, this event is only for accepted MBA students. Recent alumni are invited to participate in discussions with these students. As part of the weekend, there is an 'MBA Fun Friday' program that includes dinner and a professional sporting event. Realistic Job Previews

MBA Teambuilding Activities
Student Development Opportunity (every August)

Building the team culture of the UB MBA program starts with teambuilding sessions during the August MBA Advantage orientation program and a carefully sequenced roster of community-building and problem-solving activities. Alumni facilitators provide a valuable corporate connection and application to debriefing discussions. Planning for this event starts in the spring. Alumni Telementor Program

Student Development Opportunity (ongoing)

The Alumni Telementor program is designed to connect School of Management students to School of Management alumni who are interested in helping students with career exploration and planning. This is not a job referral program; rather, it is designed to provide opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to speak with professionals to obtain career-related information. Alumni Ambassadors

Student Recruitment Opportunity (ongoing)

Alumni ambassadors assist the MBA recruitment staff during the fall semester at graduate fairs and MBA fairs. Alumni ambassadors also help to follow-up with prospective students via telephone and e-mail. Contact typically begins in late fall and goes through the spring. Executive MBA and Professional MBA

Student Recruitment Opportunity (ongoing)

Each year a number of recruitment activities are established that involve graduates of the Executive MBA (EMBA) or Professional MBA (PMBA) programs. You speak about your EMBA or PMBA experience with prospective applicants at an information session, attend our spring alumni reception for prospective EMBA applicants, or participate in an EMBA applicant phonathon.
