March

Throughout the year, the School of Management Alumni Association offers professional development seminars for our alumni and the community. At these seminars, our faculty experts bring their research into the real world, providing useful takeaways that allow attendees to apply new knowledge to their careers and organizations.

Visits with the Dean
Available Year-Round

Join with fellow alumni, virtually or in person, at your company to hear the latest on the School of Management from Ananth Iyer, dean and professor. These events are completely customizable and companies can select the full event agenda based on their own organizational priorities. Events can feature one of the School’s expert faculty members presenting on a topic such as servant leadership or School of Management staff speaking on ways alumni can engage in the school. These events can be scheduled for a time that is convenient for your company and available year-round.

Alumni Weekend
June 2 - 4, 2023

Reconnect with old friends and meet new people at this university-wide celebration. Highlights include Golden Reunion celebrations, lectures, tours, the UB Alumni Association Achievement Awards and special celebratory dinners.

Annual Awards Banquet
Fall

This is the School of Management Alumni Association’s most celebrated event and features the presentation of the Buffalo Niagara Executive of the Year award. In addition, School of Management alumni and faculty are honored for achievements in entrepreneurship, industry leadership, service to the community, service to the school and alumni engagement. More than 400 business executives attend, allowing for significant networking opportunities.

Homecoming Weekend
Fall

Students, alumni, family and friends come back to campus to celebrate a week jam-packed with fellowship and fun.

Network New York
January

The Career Resource Center and School of Management Alumni Association partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers to bring together professionals from a variety of career fields in New York City and surrounding areas to network with students interested in working or interning in NYC. This event is an opportunity to see old friends, network with fellow alums and help students from your alma mater learn about your career path and company.
