Accelerate your business career with a focused, graduate-level education in finance. Choose the track that works best for you: financial management or quantitative finance.

Based on 2016 changes to the curriculum, the UB MS Finance degree now qualifies as a STEM-designated program in Financial Mathematics, which provides an additional 24 months Optional Practical Training (OPT) for international F-1 visa holders who either enroll in the program starting in Fall 2016 or later, or who graduate from the program in February 2017 or later.

Through the financial management track, you will become a better financial strategist and policy maker by enhancing your theoretical and analytical skills and knowledge of practical business applications. 
In the quantitative finance track, you will learn to value existing complex securities and design new complex securities.
