The Internships and Experiential Learning team is proud to coordinate with our partners to provide students with the opportunity to defray the cost of summer internship tuition.
The scholarships detailed below are available to students interested in summer internships. Applications open each spring and instructions can be found in BizLink.
The School of Management graduate class has established a fund to assist students completing unpaid, credit-bearing summer internships. Students may apply by submitting an essay, application and current résumé through BizLink. All materials will be reviewed by our selection committee. Winners will receive $1,000 in tuition credit to help defray the cost of summer internship tuition.
Only graduate students participating in unpaid, credit-bearing summer internships are eligible to apply. Paid interns, Western New York Prosperity Scholars and undergraduate students are not eligible.
The School of Management undergraduate class has created a fund to assist students completing credit-bearing internships. Students may apply by submitting an essay, application and current résumé through BizLink. All materials will be reviewed by our selection committee. Winners will receive $500 in tuition credit to help defray the cost of internship tuition.
Only junior and senior undergraduate students participating in a credit-bearing internship are eligible to apply (for-profit, nonprofit, domestic or international). Applicants will be asked to provide information about two leadership experiences they have taken part in (member of a club, teaching assistant, Management Volunteer Program, etc.). Western New York Prosperity Scholars are not eligible.
The Prentice Family Foundation’s Western New York Prosperity Fellowship Program is a truly unique program for college and graduate students with an entrepreneurial drive who want to make a difference in Western New York. Each fellow is awarded up to $25,000 in scholarship and internship support for an academic year, based on demonstrated financial need.
