Sufrin Seminars

Presented annually by the Accounting and Law Department, the Sufrin lectureship brings to campus speakers with distinguished achievement in accounting, finance, financial economics or financial management.

Typically, the speaker presents to UB faculty, staff, students and regional professionals, followed by a Q&A period.

The lectureship is funded through a generous contribution by Dr. Gerald Sufrin, professor and chair of the Department of Urology in the UB Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and Leslie Sufrin, founder of Leslie Sufrin & Co., a division of Weiser LLP. The lectureship is named in memory of their parents.

Vikram M. Panjwani, a partner at PwC and expert on blockchain, will deliver a free lecture from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 as part of the Sufrin Lectureship in Accounting.
