Entrepreneurship Concentration

Entrepreneurial skills are crucial in business today, whether you are commercializing innovations at an established company, opening a small business, or using entrepreneurial thinking to solve difficult problems in any organization worldwide.

Starting in fall 2021, the entrepreneurship concentration will provide the capabilities you need to launch a startup, work in an entrepreneurial company and become an innovative thinker.

Curriculum

Academic performance in freshman and sophomore courses is the main criterion for admission to the upper division in the School of Management. In the first two years, you will complete the university writing requirements, general education courses and seven prerequisite courses for the major.

If you're not ready for calculus, you should take precalculus before attempting MTH 131.

The first semester you enrolled at UB (not in the management major) determines your curriculum requirements. This is also referred to as your catalog year.
