Delve into collaborative problem-solving, particularly in the area of sustainable development, in one of the world’s most biodiverse destinations.  

Work with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Costa Rica, where tourism is a primary driver of the economy. For dual health professions MBAs, participate in a Costa Rica-based health and business practicum specific to your discipline.

Past MBAs have visited sites related to social innovation and entrepreneurial leadership, including stops at Fundación Mujer, Zollner, Cargill and Carao Ventures. In addition, they explored museums in San Jose, attended presentations at EARTH University and visited pineapple plantations and coffee cooperatives to learn more about agricultural export in Costa Rica.
