BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo School of Management has moved up another place in Bloomberg Businessweek’s ranking of the nation’s best full-time MBA programs, coming in at No. 46.

Among public universities, the School of Management is ranked No. 22.

The school placed exceptionally well in the employer satisfaction component of the survey with a rank of No. 26 overall.

“Our continued outstanding employer satisfaction is coupled with a remarkable 26-place jump in our job placement ranking this year,” said Paul Tesluk, dean of the UB School of Management. “It shows that the comprehensive career resource services we provide our graduates allows them to move seamlessly into professional positions upon graduation. That translates into outstanding value for our students and our employer partners.”

The ranking focuses on how well MBA programs prepare graduates for success in their jobs. Components include an employer survey (35%), an alumni survey (30%), a student survey (15%), job placement rate (10%) and starting salary (10%).

Of more than 16,000 business schools worldwide, the UB School of Management is one of only about 800 schools accredited by AACSB International and the only school in the Buffalo Niagara region to make the Bloomberg Businessweek ranking.

The UB School of Management is recognized for its emphasis on real-world learning, community and economic impact, and the global perspective of its faculty, students and alumni. The school also has been ranked by Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes and U.S. News & World Report for the quality of its programs and the return on investment it provides its graduates.
