Gain global perspective—right here in the United States.
Our Experience the 50 programs allow you to explore various industries and see how you can make an impact in major cities across the country. Past experiences have provided an inside look at the financial world in Washington, D.C., Disney’s global business model in Orlando, and the tech space in Silicon Valley—and that’s just the beginning.
"Visiting Disney was truly inspiring and allowed me to witness things about Walt Disney World that I would never have been able to discover on my own. Learning what goes into making the Disney magic every day is remarkable. Every student who has a connection to Disney or wants to learn about a thriving business should experience this."
— Danielle Zalta, BS ’19
Experience the 50 programs are credit-bearing courses that cap off with an experiential learning opportunity.
Upon acceptance into a virtual Experience the 50 program, you will be force-registered in the course, which will meet online three to four times before culminating with a virtual experience based on the program’s theme and location. Virtual programs may include mini-cases, team projects, virtual organization tours and opportunities to network with alumni.
All Experience the 50 programs for fall 2021 are being planned for concurrent virtual and in-person experiences, with the option to shift fully virtual if necessary.
Note: For all credit-bearing virtual experiences, there is no additional program fee.
Note: The Chicago program is offered exclusively for LeaderCORE students.

“Leading the Business of Disney experience for a wonderful group of UB students provided me a unique opportunity to combine my professional and personal passions in a way I never imagined. Disney’s rich history, culture, innovation, exceptional guest service and a secret sauce often referred to as the 'Disney magic' makes it the perfect living case study. During our trip to Walt Disney World, valuable business lessons came alive and inspired students to take risks and pursue their dreams.”
