Heather Fildes learned a lot about marketing in her undergraduate classes, but she learned the most about marketing—about the nitty-gritty of brand management—during her yearlong internship in the marketing communications department of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Western New York. She was the only undergraduate among four School of Management students awarded a donor-supported not-for-profit internship stipend. Thanks to donors like you, she graduated with the kinds of skills and contacts you can only get at work.
