The Jacobs computer lab has been specifically designed for the use by the School of Management students and faculty. Only enrolled current School of Management students able to log on to the lab computers. The lab is located in the room 210 Jacobs Management Center on the second floor. There is always a computer lab consultant on duty during the hours of operation.
Computers in the Jacobs lab run Microsoft Windows and have Internet connectivity. Basic software is installed, such as Microsoft Office, along with special applications for School of Management students and faculty. Each computer automatically connects to your UBFS disk space at login.
The normal hours of operation for the Jacobs Computer Lab during the Fall and Spring semesters are as follows:

Look for special postings of changes in the lab's hours due to holidays, breaks, and summer.
Printing in the Jacobs lab is managed by iprint@ub software that helps reduce paper waste and provide convenience to students.
There is a scanner available in the lab. The computer connected to the scanner has a graphics-editing software available as well as optical character recognition (OCR) software. The OCR software is used to "interpret" scanned text. All scanned files must sent using FTP to your UBFS account, or saved to a portable storage device.

If you are looking to use classrooms to practice class presentations or for a student club meeting you must have it reserved ahead of time. See classroom reservation and usage policy. Please note that the lab consultants are not authorized to let you use room(s) if you have not reserved.
The team breakout rooms are available for School of Management students to assist with team work. You must reserve room(s) before asking Jacobs Lab consultant for access.
