Freshman Mentorship Program

The Freshman Mentorship program is designed to help first-year students make a smooth transition to university life. Upper-division School of Management students volunteer as mentors and offer to share their experiences and perspectives with new students. Mentors can offer information on School of Management and university resources, services and events. Students are assigned to mentors based upon learning community registration.

Goal Statement

To involve upper-level management students in the enhancement of the freshman experience in the School of Management by assisting with their adjustment to the university, increasing their involvement in School of Management activities and serving as a resource person during their first year.

Become a Mentor
Mentors are responsible for contacting assigned freshmen to provide a basis for support and serve as a source of information regarding involvement in University and School of Management activities.
Learning Communities
Here students can look up and search freshman learning communities to connect with their community mentors and other community members.
