Additional Information for International Applicants

All international applicants must possess a visa which permits them to attend graduate school on a full-time or part-time basis in the U.S. A copy of your current visa and passport must be submitted with your application package.
Please Note: It takes a minimum of three to four weeks to process and prepare an international application for admissions review. You will receive a decision by e-mail followed by a letter sent via surface mail. Due to the high volume of international evaluations in the spring, there can be up to a two month wait. Therefore, it is prudent to apply early.

Financial Documentation
All international applicants must document their ability to meet all educational and personal expenses for the entire period of intended study (for each of the two years) before this university can issue an I-20 or IAP-66. It is essential that you read the International Applicant Financial Form carefully. Complete and return the form along with official supporting documentation as outlined in the instructions. Photocopies will not be accepted. No certificate of eligibility will be issued without satisfactory financial documentation. Financial documentation is required for visa issuance only. Please note that financial assistance is not available for international students. All international applicants must complete the financial statement and document their ability to meet the educational and personal expenses for each year of intended study. Applications lacking sufficient financial documentation will not be reviewed.

English Language Proficiency

TOEFL
Applicants who are not native speakers of English must prove their English language proficiency by taking the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and having their score reported directly to this university. TOEFL score reports must be dated within two years of enrollment in this university.

Further information about the TOEFL may be obtained from the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Information Service in your country or www.toefl.org. The university requires a TOEFL score of at least 550 or 213 on the CAT TOEFL for admission. If your English skills are not strong, you may wish to consider the English Language Institute (ELI) at this university prior to applying. ELI offers intensive English language courses during the summer (six and twelve week sessions), fall and spring semesters. Eligibility for Graduate Admissions
Applicants must have at least one year of professional, full-time work experience and take the GMAT exam. International applicants must also have completed an academic program equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree prior to enrolling.
