Thank you for considering the Singapore Executive MBA from the University at Buffalo School of Management.

During our admissions process, we look for evidence of an applicant's potential for success at senior management levels as well as the ability to participate in a rigorous academic program while maintaining full-time employment.

Selection Requirements

• Minimum of five to ten years professional work experience
• Strong undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification 
• Potential to contribute to the success of classmates
• High level of personal and professional motivation
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English 
• Note: The GMAT is not required for admission to this program

Application Process

To apply for the UB EMBA program, you will need to:

Complete the online application form. This form will require:

• Contact information for two professional references, one of which should be a current or previous supervisor
• Upload completed personal motivation essays 
• Upload current copy of résumé or CV
• Upload copy of passport or NRIC for Singaporean citizens
• Online payment of application fee USD $70
• After completing the online form, you will need to submit official copies of all post-secondary, academic transcripts/mark sheets and degree certificates, bearing the university seal, along with 2 photocopies, to the SIM Student Recruitment office. After the SIM staff certifies your photocopies, you will be able to take your originals home with you. 

Note: Your professional references should be people who can comment on your performance in a professional capacity.  Once you submit the online application, they will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the online professional reference form.

Upon receipt of all the application materials, you will be contacted to schedule an interview with the EMBA program director and/or program faculty.

2013 Application Deadlines

In order to be considered for that application round, completed applications must be received before 7 p.m. on the deadline date. The 2013 Intake will begin on 10 June 2013 with the EMBA Orientation held on 27 May. The university will accept late applications up until the third module (September) on a space available basis. Please contact us for more information.

The Student Recruitment office's hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is located at the SIM Headquarters building at 461 Clementi Road, Singapore, 599491 on the 2nd floor inside the Atrium.

If your undergraduate degree was conducted in a language other than English, you may be required to provide proof of English proficiency by submitting a TOEFL score. The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score report must be dated within two years of applying to UB.
