What is the GMAT and do I have to take it?
All
PMBA program applicants are required to take the GMAT exam as
part of the application process, without exception. The GMAT is
a computerized test that is offered worldwide and is a proven
measure of a student's potential for success in the MBA program.
Test scores must be sent to the University at Buffalo School of
Management directly from the testing agency. The test is offered
year-round and can be taken at a time that is convenient for you.
Keep in mind that appointments to take the GMAT may be more difficult
to schedule as the application deadline approaches.
To make an appointment to take the GMAT or for more information

experience.

Will I need a computer? |
You will need regular access to a computer. If you do not currently have access, we can provide you with guidelines for purchasing a computer. Many of your courses in the PMBA program will require familiarity with word-processing, spreadsheet and presentation software. |
Can I take a concentration of courses in one discipline as part of the PMBA program?
The PMBA program is designed as a general MBA program. However, if you have flexibility in your work hours, you may substitute electives offered during the day for those that are chosen by the class as part of your program. Most students decide to pursue general knowledge in a variety of business disciplines rather than specialize. Contact the PMBA office if you have questions on a specific area of concentrations.

Do I need any specific undergraduate courses before I can apply or enroll?
You are eligible for the PMBA program with an undergraduate degree in any discipline. We recommend that you take at least one semester of college calculus before enrolling, but this is not required.
