Curriculum
The curriculum is composed of 48 credit hours. This
includes 12 core courses (36 total credits) and 12 elective credits.
All students are working toward a general MBA and need to maintain an
overall GPA of 3.0 to remain in good standing. Instruction is delivered
by professors renowned in their fields during courses that offer in-depth
training and hands-on experience in complex management skills. In addition,
instructors focus on helping students understand emerging trends in
business. Participants are expected to complete significant work outside
the classroom in both individual and study-group assignments.

- Core
courses teach materials that can be used by functional managers to
solve day-to-day problems and address long-term strategic issues.
Global and ethical perspectives are included throughout the core curriculum.
- Each January
and August, prior to the start of the regular semester, one-credit
mini courses are held on two evenings and all day one Saturday. These
specialized courses have been created to help working professionals
develop important career skills. For example, you might immerse yourself
in building team skills or improving your competency with business
communications.
- Electives may
include Power & Influence, Consulting, Leading Teams, Communication
Skills, Integrated Marketing, Introduction to Healthcare Economics,
Supply Chains and Global Operations, International Business Environment
and many more.
- The
flexible elective credits may be filled by taking three additional
mini-courses, completing a supervised research project or by taking
a course that we may offer on an ad hoc basis in the latter part of
the summer or during an intersession period. This is an opportunity
for you to seek out a challenge to expand your portfolio of skills
or to obtain depth in an area of interest.
