Applying to the PMBA program

There are two ways that students may apply to the University at Buffalo MBA programs:
  1. Applicants may apply electronically through the University at Buffalo Graduate Application site. This is the method the MBA program prefers applicants to use. If you would like to apply using a Web form, please read the instructions for applicants and then return to the checklist where you will find the link to the online application.

    Instructions for applicants

  2. Applicants may also submit paper applications. If you would like to do so, but do not yet have an application, please complete the Web request form.

Admissions Process

Completed applications are reviewed on a rolling admission basis, usually within two weeks of submission. Admission decisions are mailed via surface mail within a few days of the MBA admissions committee meeting. Be sure to complete your application by July 1. Preference is given to applications received by July 1. The MBA admissions committee may request an interview with applicants who show promise but have not clearly demonstrated admissibility through materials submitted as part of the application.

Applications are only considered for fall enrollment. If you would like to take a course or two in the spring semester to get a jump-start before you are formally admitted, please contact the PMBA admissions office at 716-645-3200. These courses can be used to fulfill elective credits once admitted to the program.
