Thanks to his hard work—with a boost from donors like you—Todd Carter is on his way.
Todd Carter came to UB because he wanted an MBA program with strong corporate connections. Smart move. After graduation, he went to work in finance for Allstate Insurance in Northbrook, Ill., where he was the first new hire ever invited into the company’s finance rotation training program.
Todd’s introduction to Allstate came through Steven Verney (BS ’80, MBA ’81), Allstate’s executive vice president and chief risk officer, by way of a request for an informational interview. Another smart move. Todd had helped deliver a first-place finish in an MBA case competition Verney funds at UB, and he was one of the top students in his MBA class.
