In spring of 2011, the Credit-Bearing Internship Program polled more than 500 undergraduate students regarding their preferences for being contacted by employers through social media sites.
Required for all credit-bearing internships and should be completed after you have extended an internship offer and the student has accepted. This form is also referred to as the MBO.
This session was presented to not-for-profit agencies. However most of the information applies to internships in for-profits as well. Refer to the "Building Successful Internship Programs" PDF above while watching this video. Please note: for-profits may not employ volunteers.
International Student Offer Letter Templates
When hiring an international student for an internship position, a basic offer letter is required in addition to the Management by Objectives contract.
Refer to this fact sheet for information regarding unpaid internships. If you are unable to pay your interns, they must be enrolled in academic credit for the internship as a complement to their educational curriculum.
