Undergraduate Academic Program Office Home > Degree Programs > Undergraduate Undergraduate ProgramThe undergraduate degree programs in the School of Management are designed to prepare students for eventual managerial roles in both the private and the not-for-profit sectors. The curriculum emphasizes both a broad exposure to mathematics and the social sciences and a general education in management studies. The program of study in management gives particular attention to understanding the business firm in society; the management functions of planning and control; the behavior of organizations; the tools of modern management, including accounting, economics and statistics; and the ways in which managers perform such functions as production, marketing, finance and industrial relations. The school's program is accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. There are two degrees offered through the School of Management: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration The undergraduate concentrations in Business Administration include financial analysis, human resources management, internal auditing, international business, management information systems, marketing, and operation and supply chains management. Bachelor of Science in Accounting Students interested in taking the New York State CPA examination need to be aware that the Undergraduate Accounting degree is not sufficient to sit for the NYSCPA exam as of August 1, 2009 and students will need to explore graduate studies to qualify, such as the Master of Science in Accounting in the School of Management. |
