Career exploration and informational interviewing helped you identify some career choices and what types of skills are needed. Your self-assessment process helped you determine which of those skills need to be developed. Technical and functional skills can be developed through your coursework, but some of the most important skills are not always taught in classes.

Leadership, teamwork, communication skills and many more competencies can be developed through alternative methods, to complement your classroom studies.
