The Alfiero Center

“This building will stand as a beacon of opportunity. All the students, faculty and friends who walk the corridors...will have the feeling that this is their ‘home’ on campus.”

– J. Grant Hauber ’48
Benefactor

An architectural masterpiece of glass, brick, space and light, the three-story, 23,000-square-foot Alfiero Center is entirely student-focused.

Adjoining the Jacobs Management Center on UB’s North (Amherst) Campus, the Alfiero Center serves as the hub of student life at the School of Management. The center serves a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate student needs, and houses the academic and career development offices that assist the nearly 3,000 students who enroll each year in the School of Management. It also features three high-tech lecture halls, an Internet café, a suite of offices for student organizations and multiple breakout rooms for student team meetings and group projects.

Wireless computer technologies have been integrated throughout the building, giving management students around-the-clock access to business research and market data.
