Through this initiative, faculty and students focus their research on understanding complex financial environments.
The School of Management has long refined and well-respected research programs in financial markets and behavioral finance. Its faculty remain at the forefront of the finance and economics research frontier, consistently publishing articles in the field’s leading scholarly journals and reviews.
In addition to its longstanding core curriculum in finance, the School of Management has extended its foci in the areas of financial management and financial engineering. This direction reflects an effort to further intellectual exchange between the finance industry and academia, and meet the demands of the complicated and burgeoning demands of the industry.
Extending faculty expertise to newly emerging areas of quantitative finance, this initiative builds upon faculty's detailed knowledge of the principles and techniques of financial decision-making, valuation and capital markets.
