2006 Annual Report

Through their innovative research, School of Management faculty create new knowledge about management and impact the business world.

During 2006, our faculty published 41 articles in professional and scientific journals and served on the editorial review boards for more than 20 scholarly journals.

Highlights

  • Professor H. Rao in the Department of Management Science and Systems received the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities.
  • Professor G. Lawrence Sanders also in the Department of Management Science and Systems received the Provost’s Exceptional Scholar/Sustained Achievement Award.
  • Professor Tony Tong in the Department of Operations Management and Strategy received the Provost’s Exceptional Scholar/Young Investigator Award.
  • Professor Kee Chung, M&T Bank Chair in Banking and Finance, received the the Maekyung-Korea America Economic Association Economist Award, 2007 that recognizes outstanding scholarly work by members of the Association
