Prior to his retirement from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in 2017, Stolzenburg served in a number of leadership positions for the firm, most recently as managing partner of the Buffalo Office and Upstate New York market team leader. During his thirty-six years in public accounting, Stolzenburg’s portfolio consisted of a mix of public and private clients in a variety of business sectors, with a concentration in the financial services industry, including M&T Bank Corp., CBSI Bank, Monro Muffler and HSBC Bank. His expertise covers compliance, mergers and acquisitions, financial statements, tax and other accounting issues.

In his role as executive in residence for accounting, Stolzenburg uses his extensive industry experience to assist accounting majors with all forms of career readiness: guidance, résumé review, interview skills, soft skills development and more.
