Executive in Residence, Finance
BS, School of Management, University at Buffalo
In a volatile economy, the School of Management is preparing the next generation of financial leaders by arming them with strong analytical skills, academic training and practical tools that will enable them to hit the ground running in their careers.
Jay Schwartzkopf is contributing to that mission as executive in residence for finance. Currently a silent partner in a private equity fund focused on multifamily real estate in North Carolina, Schwartzkopf brings a wealth of insights and contacts to his role in the School of Management.
In particular, Schwartzkopf:
A former board member of the UB Alumni Association, Schwartzkopf has been recognized multiple times for his service to UB and the School of Management, including receipt of the School of Management Alumni Association Service Award, the University at Buffalo Alumni Association Volunteer Recognition Award, and the School of Management Career Resource Center’s Intern Supervisor of the Year.
He also has been a guest lecturer and panelist on a variety of topics, and has served as a small business mentor for the School of Management’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and a presentation coach for a team in the school’s Finance Academy.
