The Department of Finance and Managerial Economics in the UB School of Management offers undergraduate and graduate programs that cover a broad array of subjects, including corporate finance, investment management, international finance, financial institutions and financial modeling.
Our undergraduate concentration in Financial Analysis is designed to prepare students for careers in areas of quantitative finance and decision making. Classroom knowledge can be complemented with an internship to gain experience in these fields.
MBA students may customize their degree program by choosing the Finance option, offered through our department. This option prepares students for careers in financial management in a broad range of business enterprises.
The Master of Science (MS) in Finance programs are designed for students who wish to obtain a comprehensive graduate-level education in the field of finance, but do not wish to take the extra time required to complete the broader-based MBA program with a concentration in finance.
