Background

Professor Metzger was a practitioner in the field of public accounting and internal audit for more than 10 years prior to joining the University at Buffalo’s faculty. Her experience in public accounting includes financial audit, internal audit and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Additionally, Professor Metzger spent more than four years in the banking industry, performing a vast number of internal audits in the areas of Human Resources, Banking Compliance, as well as Deposit Operations. Professor Metzger's current teaching responsibilities include accounting information systems at the undergraduate level.
