Background
Prior to joining the University at Buffalo's faculty, Professor Nesper was a practitioner in the fields of public accounting and corporate accounting for over 17 years. In addition to her audit experience at two international public accounting firms, her corporate accounting experience includes: forecasting and operations analysis, budget and strategic business plan development and analysis, cost analysis (including Activity-Based Costing), overseas/joint venture analysis, product line profitability analysis, investment and capital budgeting analysis, and future product program analysis. Professor Nesper's current teaching responsibilities include the areas of cost and managerial accounting at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. She serves as faculty advisor for the School of Management's Accounting Association.
