Concentration and Degree Options

  • Undergraduates can select the human resources management concentration to prepare for careers in industrial relations, HR management and more. Through this option, you will learn to attract, develop and retain top talent, as well as gain vital leadership skills relevant to any management position.
  • As a full-time MBA student, you can take leadership to the next level with LeaderCOREā„¢, a comprehensive leadership certification program that spans the entire two years of the MBA program.
  • The MBA program’s management consulting concentration also is offered through our department. With this option, you will learn to diagnose problems, build client relationships, develop solutions and monitor the effectiveness of changes inside and outside of your company.
  • In the Management PhD program, you can concentrate in two areas—organizational behavior and human resource management—and work with committed faculty scholars to obtain a position at a leading research university. 

In addition, the School of Management is home to the Center for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (CLOE), which strives to create more effective leaders and organizations by advancing research and teaching in leadership and its impact on organizational effectiveness.
