What is the online Mini-MBA Program?
The online Mini-MBA is a non-credit-bearing course, designed and managed by the University at Buffalo School of Management. The course consists of a series of seventeen separate modules that must be completed in order to receive a certificate of completion. It is ideal for those looking for an opportunity to gain or update business skills in a variety of management-related areas.
The course consists of six separate content areas, each to be reviewed and completed prior to moving on to the next content area. Each module also contains a segment of test quesions at the close of each section.

What subjects are included?
The non-credit-bearing program incliudes content in each of th six subject areas (modules):
Accounting and Finance
Marketing and Communications
Technology
Human Resources
Economics
General Management
The user will complete each section, in the above order, before moving on to the next.

How do I advance from one module to another?
You may work through the material at your own pace. Additionally, a test period is posted at the end of each module. Users must achieve a score of 65% or better in order to advance to the next module.

Where is the program located?
The online Mini-MBA Certificate Program is hosted on the University at Buffalo secure web server, a comprehensive and flexible e-Learning software platform that delivers the course management system.

Who has access to the program?
To access the online Mini-MBA, a user must be authorized by the School of Management through the Center for Executive Development.

When can I access the program?
The online Mini-MBA is web-accessible 24 hours per day, seven days a week. You may access the program anytime and anywhere you have access to a computer and the Internet.

What are the computer requirements?
To use this program effectively, you must use a computer that is able to connect to the Internet and use a web browser – Internet Explorer or Netscape – version 4.0 or higher. Macintosh users should use Netscape 6.1.

How do I login?
A user-name and password will be assigned to you by the School of Management. You must provide this information each time you wish to access the program.
