BS/MS Programs

Earn your bachelor’s and master’s degrees seamlessly with one of our 4+1 programs.

Our combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Science programs provide a full-life-cycle educational experience that is cost- and time-efficient.

Increase your career potential with a program that delivers both quality and value. In today’s marketplace, employers are seeking candidates who have the breadth of a strong undergraduate education, as well as the deep knowledge and technical skills you gain from a specialized master's program.

A combined BS/MS program:

  • Provides a definitive and efficient pathway to a graduate degree, required for entry-level positions in many fields today
  • Removes traditional barriers to entry into graduate-level study, such as standardized tests, application costs and admissions decision angst
  • Encourages you to stay on track in your academic progress through a formalized structure
  • Allows international students to get an educational visa authorization for five years, instead of four, and provides an opportunity to capitalize on the STEM designation of our MSF and MSMIS programs, extending Optional Practical Training (OPT) time in the United States and increasing the opportunity to legally work for U.S. employers

Entering college freshmen are admitted directly to the 4+1 programs. Simply indicate this on your orientation data form, or let your School of Management academic advisor know you want to be enrolled in one of the three 4+1 programs and then stay on track to seamlessly complete both degrees.

Why should you apply to a 4+1 program as an entering freshman?

  • Guaranteed admission to the MS program with overall undergraduate GPA of 3.25*
  • Save time and money with a graduate application fee waiver
  • Your graduate admission tests are waived
  • Stay on track to timely graduation

Internal and external transfers may request individual reviews in their junior year for these three programs.

*BS/MS Accounting students must also achieve a minimum junior-senior year accounting GPA of 3.0 to continue to graduate courses.
