Jasmina Tacheva, PhD ’19is assistant professor in the Syracuse University School of Information Studies. As a UB student,  Jasmina and her teammates won the 2018 UB World’s Challenge Challenge with ElevateHer—a data science education project for women in developing countries. Jasmina also was part of the NAVIGATE Project, an NSF-sponsored initiative supporting women in STEM.
