The University at Buffalo MBA Case Competition is a world-class business case competition where teams of MBA students from top programs compete in a real-world case analysis and solution presentation to a panel of executive judges for a chance to win both team and individual prizes.

  • First-place team will receive $5,000
  • Second-place team will receive $3,000
  • Third-place team will receive $2,000

Competition Details

UB MBA students at case competition.

When: March 2-3, 2018

Where: University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY

Eligibility: Teams are to be composed of two first-year and two second-year full-time MBA students.

Ten teams will be chosen to present in the final round based on the quality of their two-page case analyses. If chosen as one of the ten finalist teams, a registration fee of $250 will be required. Additional details will be coming upon selection.

Timeline:

  • February 5 - Registration deadline
  • February 6 - Case distributed
  • February 11 - Two-page case analysis due
  • February 16 - Final round invitations
  • March 2 - Welcome dinner
  • March 3 - Semifinal and final presentations
