A software engineer by profession, Vignesh graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Technology from SASTRA University, Thanjavur, India. He hails from the town of Kumbakonam, India, which is called the "Land of Temples" and is the home of the Airavatesvara Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city is also world famous for its freshly ground delicious homemade coffee.
Prior to becoming a UB MBA, Vignesh worked at the Bank of New York Mellon Technologies India Pvt. Ltd as project lead in Chennai. He refers to his decision to pursue an MBA as a “natural progression.”
He was attracted to the UB School of Management because of the diverse set of students from all around the globe, the thought provoking and immensely experienced faculty, the Corporate Champions program, LeaderCORE™, case competitions, specialized concentrations, the myriad of clubs, and the tremendous connections with a plethora of corporate companies all around the U.S., especially in Buffalo and Western New York.
