Michael Schwarz

MBA ’20

Michael was born and raised in Queens, New York. He attended Binghamton University for his undergraduate studies where he studied integrative neuroscience and history. After graduation, he returned to the city and began working as a medical scribe in an urgent care facility. It was while working there that he developed an interest in health care administration, as he realized the impact of operational efficiencies on the endeavor toward better outcomes for patients.

This led him to search for MBA programs. What appealed to him most about the UB MBA was its range of unique offerings, in programs like Corporate Champions and LeaderCOREā„¢.

“The opportunity to work so closely with major firms in the earliest days of one's MBA journey affords true perspective as to how to go about team building, and I was very excited to work on projects that tested the skills we were obtaining in real-world settings,” he says.
