Your Investment

The Executive MBA is a demanding program, requiring you to balance academic, professional and personal responsibilities. In short, it requires an investment of time, energy and money.

Your investment in the EMBA program will transform your life both personally and professionally. You will:

  • Apply what you learn in the classroom to the workplace, helping you perform better at your job from day one.
  • Learn skills that will help accelerate your career exponentially.
  • Gain valuable knowledge, insights and confidence that will allow you to do business anywhere in the world.
  • Develop an entrepreneurial spirit that will help you grow in your current job, or even launch your own startup.
  • Expand your professional network, providing valuable new resources, including potential clients, investors and suppliers.

Program Fee

Program Fee is set each spring for the class that will enter in September. The fall 2015 entering class will pay $52,000 plus the flight to and from the international residency location. The program cost is billed in four equal installments payable before the start of each term. The cost of the EMBA program includes tuition, fees*, books and materials, tutoring for quantitative courses during your first year, breakfast, lunch and snacks during class days, most costs associated with the international residency, and a full-time staff dedicated to ensuring a successful EMBA journey.

* This program fee does not include costs for UB Health Insurance which you will be required to purchase if you are not already covered by a health plan. If traveling from outside the Western New York area for the program, transportation to and lodging in Buffalo are not included in the cost of the program. The EMBA staff has secured special lodging rates with local hotels just minutes from north campus.

"Value equals quality over cost. In comparing the quality of the UB EMBA program with the cost of education, the Executive MBA provides value beyond words."

Gerry and Barbara Murak Scholarship for Entrepreneurship

A scholarship is available to graduates of the UB Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership Program who have applied to and been accepted into the School of Management Executive MBA program.

The scholarship is funded by CEL alumnus Gerry Murak, and his wife, Barbara. Gerry earned his EMBA degree from the School of Management in 1996 and credits his education from both programs for the success and growth of his consulting business, Murak & Associates LLC, as well as other businesses he owns. The Muraks created the scholarship to provide opportunity to executives committed to success and self-improvement through education. For more information, contact your admissions representative.
