Background

As an adjunct instructor in the Executive and Professional MBA programs, Frank Ciccia teaches courses in organizational behavior, emotional intelligence, cross-cultural issues in business, and leadership and motivation.

He has more than 20 years of experience working in and consulting for businesses, nonprofits and academic institutions throughout the United States and Canada. He is principal at Illuminare Group, a leadership education and organizational development consulting group.

Prior positions include chief learning officer for a major health care organization in Western New York and manager of learning and development for a financial services company. In 1997, Ciccia was the creator and first director of the Leadership Development Center at the University at Buffalo.

Ciccia is certified in DiSC, MBTI and DDI Workshop Facilitation, and is a past participant in the Center for Creative Leadership’s Leadership Development program. He graduated with Leadership Buffalo's class of 2000.
