What is Emotional Intelligence
Stated simply, Emotional Intelligence encompasses the skills that distinguish outstanding performers in an organization.

Imagine both the best boss you ever had and the worst boss you ever had. Odds are, each manager possessed the technical skills needed to perform his or her job effectively.

Outstanding leaders, executives and managers are distinguished from their contemporaries by their ability to understand and manage themselves and to understand and work with others. Emotional Intelligence competencies overwhelmingly distinguish outstanding leaders from average performers.
