What is the Core Program?

Apply Online! 2008 Brochure

The University at Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) Core Program is a ten-month confidential opportunity to help business owners and leaders overcome business challenges, create new opportunities and develop valuable networking relationships with the Western New York business community.

During the program, CEL candidates are provided with the tools and resources to examine their entrepreneurial strengths and weaknesses while exploring new methods for business growth. This is accomplished with assistance from their fellow classmates, outside business experts and University at Buffalo School of Management faculty.

Who should apply?

The CEL Core Program is designed for business owners and leaders whose organizations have progressed well beyond the start-up phase of operation. The typical candidate in the program has reached a certain level of success and is currently interested in developing new opportunities and creating future strategies for their organizations.

Where does the CEL meet?

The Core Program meets from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. one day per week from September through June. Classes are held at the Jacobs Executive Development Center (formerly the Butler Mansion) at 672 Delaware Avenue (corner of North Street).
