What is the Advanced CEL Program?

Business owners and leaders are currently operating in a highly unpredictable atmosphere with the increased importance on being able to "lead entrepreneurially." With the rate of change in business climates and increased competition, traditional and conventional approaches to management are not enough. This program will provide the initiative to respond to this ongoing business challenge.

Entrepreneurs need the support and guidance of their contemporaries; access to this collective knowledge and experience is crucial to the continued growth of their organizations. Because entrepreneurs face unique challenges, Advanced CEL will provide a forum for business owners and leaders to be surrounded by others with similar experiences.

Where the CEL Core Program was founded on the principles of exploring challenges and opportunities of an entrepreneur's business, the Advanced CEL Program will build upon the success of the Core Program and provide a forum to continue this success through an array of learning opportunities.

The Advanced CEL Program will provide participants with a vehicle to integrate this newly gained knowledge into their businesses, enabling them to broadcast it to the business community and regenerate their entrepreneurial passion.

When and Where Does the
Advanced CEL Meet?

The program runs from September through June. Sessions will be held at the Jacobs Executive Development Center, on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. The program will kick off with a strategic retreat on September 5 and 6, 2008, at Beaver Hollow Conference Center, Java, NY.
