MBA Blueprint

MBA blueprint is a comprehensive career development program specifically tailored for UB MBA students. The program will allow you to plan, track and achieve career progress through four coexisting foundations of development: personal assessment, career market research, job readiness and conducting a job search. It also allows for sharing of career goals and tracking of progress between you and your career advisor.

Foundations of MBA Blueprint

Your MBA Blueprint

The MBA blueprint program is made up of two parts, the blueprint (an interactive building tool found in BizLink) and a syllabus (below). By using these you can build your own MBA blueprint, you can understand where you are in relation to reaching your career goals, devise action steps to make progress, and be more strategic in working toward your MBA goal of better employment.

Syllabus (online)

Stay on track and find the resources you need.

Building Your MBA blueprint

MBA blueprint is yours to identify and reach your individual career goals. You are the project manager building your career and it is up to you to drive this build. Below is a list of things to do to build your career. Some items are continuous and occur throughout your MBA program, like networking for example. Some are check-in items where you need to make sure your career system and social media profiles along with your résumé and cover letter are up to date. And others are resources for helping you make career decisions, whether it's identifying consumer products companies, learning about the consulting industry, or identifying potential employers in Atlanta. The MBA blueprint below will help you stay on track with your career plan and help you build the future you want after the MBA program.
