Home > Career Resources > Employers > Establish a Campus Presence Establish a Campus PresenceYou can increase the visibility of your organization in a number of ways including campus interviews, information sessions and internships. Programs such as MBA Advantage, realistic job preview sessions and corporate sponsorship of career and case competitions offer unique and innovative opportunities for interested firms to interact with students. Please To learn more about these programs, contact the CRC by e-mail or by telephoning 716-645-3232. Employer Information SessionsIf your goal is to encourage as many students as possible to consider a career with your firm, your best option is to conduct a company information session or career-related workshop early in the semester, well in advance of any scheduled interviews. Attendance at these events is greatest when they are sponsored by one of our many student organizations. Alternatively, if you wish to meet students informally and provide them with company information without using valuable interview time, hosting a company information session the evening before your on-campus interview date is best suited to your needs. Although they can be open to all interested students, "evening before" information sessions are typically attended only by those candidates already preselected to interview. If you would like to schedule a company information session, log in to BizLink. The request may be found under your shortcuts or through Events. Job Fairs and EventsAnother way to increase your visibility is at the various job fairs and recruiting events throughout the year. This calendar lists upcoming recruiting and networking events including both on-campus career fairs and off-campus recruiting events. If you would like to participate in an upcoming job fair or recruiting event, please contact the CRC. |
