Degree Programs

Undergraduate Program
The undergraduate program in the School of Management is designed to prepare students for eventual managerial roles in both the private and the not-for-profit sectors. The curriculum emphasizes both a broad exposure to mathematics and the social sciences and a general education in management studies.

MBA Program
Ranked as one of the best in the world by the Wall Street Journal, the full-time MBA program immerses students into a team-focused learning environment where they master skills and theories that drive all 21st century businesses. Team work, problem solving, entrepreneurial thinking, strategic use of technology and career development are emphasized.

PMBA
The most prestigious and least expensive part-time MBA program in Western New York, the Professional MBA is designed for busy professionals who are serious about career development and advancement. Analysis of current business issues and mastery of business skills for real-world business goals, challenges and problems is emphasized.

EMBA
Designed for Western New York's best managerial talent, the Executive MBA(EMBA) program provides instruction in complex, cutting-edge business/management theory and applies it to the strategic goals of a student's company or organization. EMBA students possess an average of 14 years' professional experience; their expertise and experiences are an important part of the program, providing invaluable insight into a range of industries and business functions.

International MBA
The UB School of Management is a pioneer in the development of MBA programs in Asia, having launched the very first U.S.-style MBA program in China in 1984. The UB School of Management is the most famous U.S. business school in Asia, with two Executive MBA programs in Beijing and another program at the Singapore Institute of Management. All three MBA programs are taught by UB School of Management professors.

MIS
The Master of Science in Management Information Systems Program is available to those who have completed an undergraduate degree in business or a closely related field. Students will explore the application of computerized information systems, including Web technologies, to run a modern technology-based business.

Accounting
The Master of Science in Accounting Program is designed for accounting students and professionals who have completed an undergraduate accounting degree and who seek to enhance their technical and professional skills through completion of an advanced degree in accounting.

SCOM
The Master of Science in Supply Chains & Operations Management (MS-SC&OM) is available to those who have completed an undergraduate degree in business, engineering or the sciences. The MS-SC&OM was developed in response to views consistently expressed by industry practitioners in recent years, based on evolving trends in the industry.

MS in Finance
The Master of Science in Finance is available in two tracks. The MS in Finance - Financial Engineering Track provides students with a curriculum that is intensive in mathematics, finance, and statistics. Students learn to value existing complex securities and also to design new complex securities. Alternatively, the MS in Finance - Financial Management Track provides students with a finance-intensive program that includes both advanced financial theory and practical business applications. Students learn to become better financial strategists and policy makers by enhancing their theoretical knowledge and analytical skills in the area of finance.

PhD
This program was developed to meet your educational and career-development needs. PhD graduates successfully do research and teach in universities and colleges, as well as work in public and private organizations.
